lookin awesome morgoth, specially the face.

Maybe just lose or subtle out that black outline round his helmet as it's flattening it abit. And some bigger shapes of lighting on the red garment might look better, as the lighting on it looks kinda greeblified at the moment.

Anyway, great stuff

Yeah, that dark outline on the helmet makes me nervous, too but, alas, it is there... :)It's actually not an outline (I try to use them rarely just for effect), it's a raised part in the middle of the helmet, like a... spine or something (couldnt think of better comparison)
You're right about the lighting, it's a bit boring, but I think I did it more or less like it was on the ref photo... I just wanted to see if I can do anything with a hard paintbrush (i've always used the airbrush (big mistake :)) so I dint really care what would I paint, just grabbed a magazine and... Oook! :)
