I like the guy up top, but he looks like he was carved out of squares-- ALso-- the girl below... Were her breasts honestly the size of her head? If so... I feel bad for her.
Good work

yah, heh got to say I like the guy best as well, the facial planes, and most of all, how you managed to go with the direction of the hair, great texture on that, I've been working with dry brush trying to learn that, (allso second semester life drawing) it's been kinda hard, if the brush is too wet you get this splotchy flat area, and then you just have to deal with it...
maybe I'll get a camera and put some of my drawings online too |

Some nice work here. Great detail in the first and second pieces.
I especially like the second piece and the varying tones and the use of white pencil for the highlighting.
One crit about this piece and it's only a small and that is her hand looks a fraction too big to me. |

all pics are wonderful!
the man is nearly perfect, only his right eye (his iris) could be a little bit darker.
on the second pic i really looove her jacket and her legs, also her facial expression is interesting.
the lines and the shading on the third are quite good too, only those sharp lines on her stomache look strange |

Yeah, I love 'em too. I especially like the 2nd picture most, not sure why.
I just started at a design institute and had my first couple of figure drawing lessons already. Even though I've drawn alot from dvd/paper-reference, i bet nothing can beat drawing from a live model. I hope to get my stuff up soon which I'll probably gather alot. I'm currently taking a figure drawing course which isn't necessary + I'll probably face up with the course that _is_ necessary sometime in the future. |
