You are years ahead of me, so I can't help you with the skin. Despite its smoothness, this is a great pic.

Trying yet again to draw from a photo .. ><"" Can some kind soul out there please advice on how to make skin look more real? Thank you :)

Nice pic

You can try and use a hard edged paintbrush in combination with what you are using now to paint with, that might give his skin some texture.

And, also important, skin is not just one color. If you look closely on your hand, arm or whatever you'll se that in different angles and light all kind of colors appear; like greens, yellow, pink, purple.. watch and you'll be amazed.

The picture is very well excecuted by the way. Keep up the work! :)

His jaws are more prominant and he has more smile lines than that.

but yeah, that's a dope piece.

m(_)m!! Thank you so much for the advise!! I really appreciate it :) Guess I have to be more daring when coming to colouring ^_^

Jim S : Hard edged paintbrush? Hmm ok I'll try that! I'm using airbrush right now .. maybe that's why it looks overly smooth and hence fake ^^ Thanks for the advise ^_^

Shirotsugh : Hmm.. yess .. I guess I left out these as I'm always afraid of ruining the picture ^^; But I'll try to incorporate these in my next attempt :) Thank you!

Wakestarr : Oh! I never realised that! I tried seeing .. but can't seem to find any green shades ^^ (saw the yellow pink etc. tho :) ) But I understand what you mean by having more colours instead of the same tone ^_^ Thanks!! I'll need to experiment with that next time :)

As I was scrolling up your picture my reaction was, wow, his hair and eyes look just like him but by the time I reached the nose, mouth and chin it loses the likeness.

Renren: Thanks for the C&C!! On close inspection, I realised what you mean .. He has shorter/wider nose and much fuller lips
