No, i don't think it's poser model, there is a little bit difference beetwen them and this girl.
Nice modeling, but with few little mistakes, at breasts, shoulders and eyes. BTW looks good, i like it.
Tell me, please, what modelling method did you used fot the body and face? I suggest surface tools, right? |

that looks really well done, although there is one part that bothers me, and it's that crease between the breasts, which shouldnt' really be there, unless the girl has a scar from heart surgury otherwise the model seems very good |

even though it looks very good in first sight i can spot a few mistakes, in my opinion -
the shoulder is too small.
the face is too flat.
the eyes are too wide or too far away from eachother.
rib cage is too wide, but im not sure... she looks quite fat and i dont think that this is what u aimed for.
there should be a crease between the lower area of the ribs but i dont see it here..
but dont mind me if u dont feel like changing anything or if u dont agree. it was just my opinion.

You did that in MAYA?!
*falls over*
That program is HARD! I used it for a while at SCAD, was trying to make a person's head and ended up saying that it was an aquatic humanoid. And it took me a full week of double timed classes and most other time I had to just get the model done.
Two and a half weeks is not sufficient time to learn that program... |

SCAD? Savannah college of Art and Design?? i saw some of the teachers in the Orlando Siggraph a few years back.. boy. most of them graduate from SCAD them selves? and look like students themselves =P, They did sound knowledgeble. erm.. Maya is pretty intense. Its soo vast that it seems intimidating. But its not as hard as u make seem to be. There is a learning curve yes.. but once u overcome it as with all mid-end to highend 3D packages, its smooth-sailing all the way.
As for the model its pretty decent. The Texture mapping for the undergarments is pretty spot on. The anatomy though needs some more work, particularly with the armpit area. I think the armpits are placed too high up into the under side of the shoulder.. should be lower. Also a longer neck would be aesthetically more pleasing =)

The art institute has about 3 or 4 maya classes.. so you total about 44 weeks of learning maya. (go to one of the art institutes if you want to make Maya your bitch, Max too) |

Very nice work. Maya is such a fun tool to work with and I see you are doing well mastering it. So long as you keep at it you will keep getting better and better with such a fun and easy to use program. Now abou the model. I just pulled 10 people over to the monitor to see your work. We all agree she is fabulous and the most "real" look charecter we have seen in a while. Not too fat, not too skinny. Everyone seems to go for ballerina thin models but that isnt realistic. Good job and keep up the excellent work. |
