It looks a little emm ...jaundiced - and blue lips? I guess this is what you were going for ?
The proportions are fine (I like the goofy expression) but the paintwork needs a lot of attention. |

marky - the colors were not supposed to be realistic, i tried to paint with yellow, blue, and orange. How would you suggest to improve the paintwork? |

Well what I meanabout the paintwork, is it looks "unfinished". Now I know you will say "well Marky thats what I was going for" - but it is inconsistent over the surface - some areas are blended and some not. Since I don't really know what you are going for its difficult to say how you would improve it. What is the picture trying to do? The colors I just think need some more variety. Maybe some red? only a suggestion
I think as well that the solid white BG tends to draw the eye a bit .
You did ask why you thought it wasn't working - and these are only intended to be constructive comments |

it seems like the left side of his face is wider than the right. I am not sure if thats because the head is tilted or accident. If the former, you might wanna make the fact that its slightly tilted a lil more apparant. Who knows? heh. |

Marky - I guess i should balance the "finished" look and the "unfinished" look more intentionally.
MoleculeMan - you are right, i didn't notice that! i look more into how the light define that tiltness.
