these are beautifully done. The only critique I can give is that for the first one the sun's rays don't quite seem to fade out as well and in the 3rd one the stars seem a bit odd. Nevertheless great work. I love the brushstrokes. Keep it up. |

I quite agree with Viridae that the sun light should be more tender, to make it more real. Most of the brushstrokes are tough and hard, if you make some of them(the light, ray)more soft, I think the picture will improve a lot. Any way. very impressive, good imagination. |

HEy, thanks for the critique's guys. I'll just fix those light rays up a bit more. I'm sure that first picture is quite wrong techically though. I doubt light rays would really shine out like that, at such a forced angle I guess, but ... whatever.
Oh by, the way, the last pic is from Soul Reaver, Legacy of Kain series. |

Hey hey, thanks for the replies. I was reading the thread by taytae (I think, sorry if I'm wrong), on what's become of the forums crituque wise. I quite agree with some of the things he has to say, so I'm gonna give this package of drawings another attempt by boosting it up. Sorry if this pissed anyone off, and please
rip these drawings apart. |
