Made in photoshop, I had references for the cloud but not for the cliffs.
This one isn't quite finished and proberply never will be, since I'm leaving town for two months tomorrow.
BTW: The mountains in the background are grabbed from a photo

I'm a bit pissed that I can't finish it- but its four in the morning and I really ought to get some sleep

Oh. My. God.
*awesome*. The hills in the are really nice & subtle. The rocks could use some stronger shadows maybe, but otherwise it's perfect.

I really dig, but if I was going to offer a critiq it would be that the crack lines on the mountains really mess up the scale, they make them look really small.

wow, man.. preety cool.., if you said you haven't use any reference for the clouds, i could kill you...
anyway, how did you achieve that 'Corel Painter' look with photoshop? i supose you've used custom brushes, am i right?
the hill is nice, but i think it should have more different colors, shades and features, in order to make them more.. 3d?

I saw the original post in WIP and this is SUCH an improvement. I'm glad you didn't change the clouds, because they are perfect. I'm keeping this one as an example of perfect clouds.

| i love the layout. how the moutian comes back around and you can see it in the very front(bottom) of the piece. very nice layout. plus... It just rocks. Perfect piece. |

Nice, really great detail in those clouds. So much variation in them... nice.
The mountains need a bit of work though.. they seem a bit fake.. work on them when you get the time in a few months.. or maybe not..
