Hellloooooo, Nick...
I immediately saw the professionalism in this piece, and wondered at the commenters here going on about your 'other art.' I went to your home page.
Ah. I see.
You are a very sick and twisted person... very cool.
Looking at this piece, I searched for something to critique... some suggestion to make it better. Sorry. Either I'm too stupid, or you've done too fine of a job. Take yer pick.
One thing I really love about this, is the touch of that creepy magic the design of the cards invokes. Like a haunted carnival (aided also by the spiraling background), or, perhaps, the beginning of a nightmare one might have, who has been exposed to, or possessed by, an evil magician.
See? This definitely tells a tale, and that's impressive, considering it's a bunch of cards in a wind tunnel of some sort. You do an incredible job. Kudos, my bruddah. |

Thanks all for the great replies. It makes me happy to know you enjoy my artwork. I hope you like the latest incarnation of this piece too.
Optical: I have thought about doing this comic for about 6 years. First it was going to be all photo's then I learned how to do 3D and it was going to be all 3D. Then once I actually tried doing an all 3D comic it turned in a compromise...2D/3D.
It is good to know you think I am on the right track. I just hope the comic community buys it.
feebsaint: Is your site THE PAINTCHAT? that everyone talks about? I really like your site too. Some very imaginative pencil work. I love the logo.
I think they are talking about the other pages to my comicbook. My website is reallllly old. Try

Dixter: It comes from years of hard work. I am 24 and feed myself nothing but a diet of sick and twisted and utterly amazing images. Plus I work very hard to keep at my drawing and master all the programs I work with. They give me insperation alot. Insperation comes when you realize there is just nothing else to do that you enjoy better. |
