nice work. It's kind of strange to see someone weilding a gun in a self-portrait but, um, whatever. Cool style.

that's a cool style
I got a problem reading the left arm/shoulder as the light doesn't really seem to apply on it ( and to some extend, same goes to the tshirt ) as it does on the face . cool oranges on the glasses .

Wow! I'm really digging that, especially the glasses Only thing I'd critique is the hair, it seems like it could use a few highlights here and there. His left thumbnail looks a little flat too, but it doesn't really detract from the painting. Great style though, I like the skin tones

As i allready told you, i like this a lot. Looks like it's painted with Gouasche.
Like the fact that you left some areas flat like the hair. I also like the tones on the hands and the glasses rocks. The black frame around it adds a nice touch too!

Well balanced, not too much of anything, it's just right.

beautiful! excellent lighting, shading and foreshortening! please tell me you had photo reference! Any tips for creating such realistic-feeling works? I'm afraid my stuff always looks so painted and a smidge cartoony...

I am so impressed. ;} more??
