All righty then... I was trying to imitate my pencil drawing style with wacom...
I used paintbrush and 3pix wide hard brush, size and opacity activated. Big plus in digital is that there is not so sharp eraser in real life
Usually I prefer colored canvas than pure white one. I don't know why but I can be more creative that way. I didn't try to make these as clean as possible. I focused mainly to the shape.


1. Okay... I named this guy as Alonzo. Maybe that's why he looks little bit italian to me.




2. Hmmz. Maybe there is some Black&white influence...



3. Hihii.. I don't know about you but to me this pal's face profile reminds little bit Alfred Hitchcock.

I’m no expert on line work, far from it, but I would suggest move variation in the line weight. There seems to be a heavier outline that forms the silhouette and a finer line for interior forms. If the sihl line thinned on top of forms and was heavier under them?

maybe if the line work could suggest lighting a *little* more.

1 aspirin is all that is needed! I know you are after a heavy textural, brutal look.

Spooge demon: Yes, you're absolutly right about line weightning. It's my very weak side. Next time I'll pay more attention to line weightning...
