Hey guys, this is my first post here on this forum, and this was my first real attempt at digital art. I'd like some critiques. Thanks!

Is it a Porsche 2000 turbo?
Maybe it was your intention, but there aren't any straight line there, it's really distorted. |

The colors and highlights and shading are all really quite good... but for some reason the whole thing looks skewed..
heh, I played with it in photoshop a bit and it sure fixed it. I just used the skew menu item.
keep at it tho, your stuff is lokoing good.

As it stands it almost looks like we're looking at a reflection on a slightly curved surface. If that was what you were goning for, then putting a sharp highlight somewhere over the image with the indication of some scratches in the metal would have shown that more clearly. Otherwise, you might want to softne your middle ground and background a little and fade the background with the sky a little more to creat a feelingo of distance. You could even do it in such a way that it accentuates the distortion you have going. |
