Nice attempt though, some things are creditable so be pleased with yourself. Just try again! you'll only get better... You seem to have the potential.

I like the 'strength' of the car lights. Awesome idea too. You need to work on perpective and car designs. Technical rendering too, like everyone has too!

otherwise you certainly have a cool idea. Nice pic.

technically you did some stuff wrong; the overused colour-dodge fire effect and the perspective problems.

But...

The pic still looks great. The way you made the headlights and the road motion-blurred; it all just works. The pic creates a whole atmosphere.

Mantis: yep. You said eveyrything what I did wrong... I didn't use perspective guide lines... and I'm rather not so sure how to use them in pic like this...

very frustrating...

Well honestly, yes there are perspective problems and it does look a bit too blurry.. but I really like the sense of speed you accomplished. The whole pic has a very..... urgent feel to it. I like it personally.

Although, like everyone mentioned, there are some technical issues I still think this pic is really badass. But then I love cars... especially fast cars racing out of an explosion!!

Seriously, when I looked at this I could really sense everything that was going on. It feels very fast, almost makes your heart pound. I think this image is really really cool.

Well, i like the pic, and im gonna crit, although i'ts like im a hypocrite seeing as though im nowhere near your skills, anyway, enough crap. the thing that hits me most (apart from the perspective) is the way that the car in front is quite blurry and not defined enough, also the tyre is too detailed considering it is rotating very fast. Another thing, everything surrounding the cars appears to be moving but the vehicles themselves dont seem to have much movement on them, like i said before, the tyre. 1 last thing and the sparks are too weak for the speed, some parts of the flames in the background are more square than round and perhaps need to "flow" a bit more, maybe i'm wrong, i dont know.

Well anyways, like i said, im no proffessional artist, so take note if you so wish. the work is gr8 tho m8 keep it up.

Oh btw, faust and jezebel, if you read this, you 2 are incredible!!! you should do a joint work.

everyone else critiqued everything i would have. i just wanted to tell you how wikkid i hink your lights are, and the reflections of the lights. oh and the sparks. i feel like a kid being so amused by shiney, sparkly things but oh well... good work.

I like it. Looks like you got a great start. The best advice I could give, would be to put it away for a while. I am always getting frustrated with my work, and week or so away allows you a new perspective and a little more patience.

Jezebel: I'm also quite satisfied to the feeling. that's why I bothered to post it.

That's quite a rush. It's like we have a bumpers eye-view of the get away cars racing against their own inferno. Bravo!

Roundeye: everything what shines and sparkles are interesting to me..

Katana: Yeah, Your advice is very practical. In fact I already did that, but I'm so full of this image that I don't want to do anything to this...

not bad, though a bit too blurry and a litlle too smudged. And talking about the sky, i think you should give it some blues and greens, and make i more "one piece" cause now it looks like explosion
