Phew. Haven't had time to post, since I've been trying to keep up with deadlines and finishing up www.Storm-Works.com

However, both SoulSaga #5 and the site are done. Yippie! Still working on finishing the site and putting in more pics, but at least its working AND you can FINALLY get the books online!

So here's a plug that is the IFC and 1st page of the new issue - just for the forum...

Image was drawn by Stephen Platt, the "propaganda-wall" is a swipe from a WWII poster and some creative license... if you read the book you'll understand the message being made

PS: As requested some closer-ups...

OH POOP.

Hey man, that's just beautiful.
Very nostalgic, nice composition. Wish it were a bigger image.

I think that has to be one of the best things I've seen you do Chris. I think this style works great over Platt's stuff compare to the Joe Mad pieces.

Great job on the site too by the way.

heh. I remember back in the days when I first saw some of the artwork by 'splatt' (which was how Stephen Platt signed back then). His artwork in moonshadow was like McFarlane on steroids... This looks very nice Liquid. Great job!

That is nice.

I would really like to get a closer view. Wall texture, sky, buildings, shading. There are alot of things on there that I would like to examine.

April 4th? Can't wait.

Thanks for all the nice comments, guys!

Here's hoping we don't get screwed on the print job...

JC - no poster. This is the IFC (inside front cover for the credits) and the first page of a comic called SoulSaga that I co-created/co-wrote.

CHAPEL - Platt and Mad are two entirely different artists. So you really have to adjust your work to suit their styles to the best of your abilities.

BURN - lol!

MILK - Actually Aron and I work on everything interchangeably. There is no such thing as "my" book and "his" book. We just switch styles as we think is best to fit the continuity and feel of the art.

Thanks for checking out the site. Comments are very welcome, keep in mind though that the entire site is Database driven, and as such we can't change structure that much. We're sort of set that way. ...

Impressive art

Nice work on the site too, good idea to put everything in one central page, instead of having 2 seperate sites.

And Christian (this goes for Aron too) I know you guys know that I dropped EvE after 3 issues, but I'll be grabbing the trade for sure. So yeah, I will eventually be reading the whole story arc so I can see how cheap the whole death scene really was lol

Woa! This rocks!
I like the sort of angular, graphic qualities in those ww2 posters. I found a cool book of old communist China ones once with similar poses like that big geezer. It had cool slogans and they all had really optimistic themes (although i guess they cover the truth abit...)

'Bout time you did something with that website or a new soul saga just kiddin.
I know you guys have been busy.
Do you mind if I ask who you print thru?
I have been searching and came up with only a few that states they will handle comics.

Top - Thanks! I actually really hate the fact that we get this busy sometime. Mostly I wish I had more time to do some of my own doodles, there just doesn't seem to be enough time...

Dragon - Thyanks! Thanks for giving the TPB a shot - hope it won't dissapoint - let me know what you thought - good or bad.

Plant - I like the graphic quality of those posters too - the communist worker propaganda posters come to mind as well. However, we're very deliberate in using it in the story as well...

Rage - Most comics are printed at Quebecor (the company name) a huuuge printing plant in Canada. There are also some printed at a place called Sullivans. But I can't recall where they are located.
