Well, this is more or less done. It's a pencil sketch coloured with PS. It's the first thing I've completed using PS, so I'm sure there are many things I should have done differently.
I don't think I'm going to make any major revisions at this point, but I'd welcome suggestions to add a little polish to it, or just general comments.

very good posture and shading. The anatomy looks good. I like the neck area. She has a strong looking neck, which looks good on her. A few crits. The kneecap looks too long and thin. Also I think her face would look better if you toned down the dimples and made the jaw thinner by just a tad. And the hair could do with a more sharper contrast to match the background. Good piece. And using a mouse! "most impresive" *Vader voice!*

I like the concept. There are however a lot of highlights on her, perhaps a few too many. it kind of detracts from the image- imho

Ah, you're finished with this piece Eric, great! I really admire your patience with this picture.

I agree with the comments on lighting, but the nymph (or the dryad) looks very good to me as it is. The grass is OK, it really doesn't have to be any more detailed, I think it works just perfectly this way (compared to that black pit of every-single-grass-blade-finger-numbing-shading-madness I'm falling into ).

Overall, this is certainly two thumbs up. Hey, you should post your awesome b/w-stuff too!

The dryad is a type of nymph. So, either name fits.

By the way, I think the pic looks very nice, particularly the blending of the legs into the tree.
