okokok, i really did, but before i post, could anyone tell if there's anyway to savea .psd to .jpeg, without making the gradings look like crap? once someone tells me, i'll post my pic, and it's sweet

nice pic..only gradient i see is the background but it fits nicely
you should definitely finish this one

just a lil thing - the shoulder on the left hids the chest too much.

besides that it a nice piece. finish it


oh, and the GRADIENT RULL!! WOOOOOW!

hahaha, it IS blaster! , oh btw, i colored him and shaded him with gradients (looks good hey?) and then i touched it up with the brush. ok, ftp.geocities. got it, thanks

OK, couple things:

First off, great pic. I really love your style.

Second, use fp.geocities.com, not ftp.geocities.com

Third, when converting to .jpg, try the Save For Web option. You can control the level of optomization relative to image quality (somewhat).

And lastly, I could be completely wrong, but do you mean you used the lasso tool to select areas of the pic, and then shaded inside? I'm just not sure what you mean by "using gradients," and I'm curious.
