Was inspired by the squid robot in Matrix. Used Max 2.5 and Nendo. It was built around the same time as the Vaccine Gun - took the cables right from it and added to this scene. For my studio stationery. Ed--

I liked Matrix alot, though I didn't care for Keanu Reeves. Overall, I thought it was very well done - little raw at times but overall pretty cool. What'd you think of it? Yeah, they're already on their second installment.BTW, I got to see a small avi of the new Planet of the Apes - looked pretty cool as well.Ed-- |

That's really neat. I like how you kept all the pieces thin, sorta' like surgical tools. It's more sinister-looking that way, too.

Nice!! Just curious, did you use nendo for the entire model or just parts of it? |

Pincers, the mech arms, swing arms, pulleys were modeled in Nendo. The center core, the tubes and round ring pieces in Max. I used smooth tool to smooth out the Nendo models. Rendered in Max. Actually this is only a tip to a long snakey apparatus. More to come...Ed-- |
