Actually, the page is a bit inaccurate.

The reason for the marijuana web's lack of cohesion and general quality is not due to the lost concentration.

In fact, the spiders were suddenly afflicted with a bizarre side effect, where they immediately began to eat everything in sight, including their web, repeating the phrase "Oh man. I'm so fucking hungry" over and over again. They then bursting into uncontrollable giggles as the scientists urged them to "foopemdopple go but direx poo".
