The mouth is alittle odd in my taste but okay, i love the foreshortening(i sux at spelling) you got it soo perfect...
the blur on it.. mmm nice

Agreed..I know it is manga/anime-ish, I just personally dont like those style of mouths. The foreshortning...IS KILLER. The Blur is Awsome. Very, very nice

I have to agree with BurnOut and Rage-lion, the face doesn't do it for me. but the gun and arm, up to the shoulder are fantastic, very super cool.

Her eyes look like they're staring in two different directions.

First thing to pop up into my head when looking at this is seeing the AWESOME perspective on the gun and hand and arm, then moving up to the face and IRK..

Was this inspired by that latest hot game named Oni?

It just reminds me very much of Konoko in Oni. Konoko has purple hair and also wears some sort of suit in a combination of grey,black, and orange. She also carries a hand gun.

Regardless, I like the pic. But the mouth is not my cup of tea.

The second face is better, but she seems to be looking in a slightly different direction than she's shooting. Looks odd, she must be good being able to look into the horizon while shooting baddies :]

The foreshortening is great. Nothing to say about that. Lighting seems a little different on the new face, like it's coming more in front of ther (bridge of nose casts no shadow on the cheek). The face altogether lacks the shading the body has, little more work would make it melt better to the whole.

Bground looks painted, but don't miss this kind of excersice by doing it the easy way :)

That's weird. I did a very simillar drawing at work today.
I like it alot Francis, but i agree with the mouth. It's too big and too exagerated compared to the rest. Very dramatic indeed

I think I'm the only one, but I think the first one is great. The face is awesome. It shows so much more than the second one. And you seemed to have changed the gender with the second face. Maybe a little too exagherated (sp?) but not much.

Looks great frances except the face...paint over your pencil lines it just looks wierd because the rest is painted..anyways keep em coming!

Egh! This face bloze chunx too! I think I like the first one a little better, even if the mouth is too wacky.
