the drawing looks good. reminds me of the rat monsters from bone.
the coloring seems good in general. you might want to consider using the values more to convey depth - ie, the highlight on the head seems to end rather abruptly and the continuing value seems to join the head too closely into the front left leg (and back leg). overall you might want to think more about using value or color to connote depth to make it less flat.
the tree highlights are interesting. they currently seem to be very close to one of the dark midtones you use for the creature. interesting choice, but possibly too dark considering the creature's highlight? i dunno.
actually, maybe the thing that's bugging me is that the black silhouette starts in the foreground and on the left and seems to continue onto the into the middle/background? have you tried varying the highlight colors on the trees (corresponding with the depth) maybe? that might help. or it might be me chasing shadows. |

K,this is awsome. I realy really like this one. The cloud color choice is perfect, and the blue you chose for the mountains is perfect (although it helps for us, living an hour from the canadian Rockies).
The colors on the beast are realy cool too, over all your palette choice is improving. |

I see Bob Ross in your mountains there, Isric...
And now we paint some happy little trees. There, that's great...

i like this, i really do, i even like how its very simple, cause that adds a lot too it. if it was too detailed it would actually look worse.
