Hi all! I've been browsing these forums for about a year and finally I just felt like posting something myself. Keep in mind: I do not consider myself a professional in any way, I just want to hear some serious crits so I can improve. Loads of competent artists here, btw.(I particularly like that many of them are swedes!)

These are primarily speed pics, since I never give myself the time to finish anything...=( Hopefully someone has something to C&C about this crap..

bouncemonster: You may be right, maybe I should have chosen a little more humble approach about the topic, but I was kind of hoping that anyone who actually reads what I wrote would understand the irony I'm using. Again, I DO NOT consider myself a professional, I just want to hear people's SERIOUS and CONSTRUCTIVE opinions about my work so I can improve. I thought this was the right place to go. I still hope it is.

I love the sea and hills. Maybe you could cool the colours down on the horizon a bit, then it would add more depth. That pic has great texture to it : )

Thanks a lot oasisnumber1! I just realized I did an update of the file on my server so the pic is reworked since everyone last saw it here. I appreciate that you like the texture, that was the main purpose with the image, trying to create detail without drawing leaf by leaf.. I tried working with sorta capt. flushgarden style (although I never could compare myself with his skills) I'm really having a hard time with the horizon and sea, like cloud-reflections in the watersurface but hopefully I'll figure something out. Again, glad you like it!!
