So I've still got a lot to do on this one but I thought I'd throw it up for a comment or two. This image popped in my mind the other day about a dogsled race but the dogs were all a bunch of little chihuahuas. It made me laugh so I thought I'd put it down on some "digital paper"
Here's the original drawing....blah blah blah

heh, I was going to draw a knight (trying) to ride a chihuahua for the Knights thread...but I was too lazy to look up chihuahua references. And I can't paint. Anyway,
I really like the colors you got going so far. I don't know what else you have planned compositionally but maybe you could loose some of the right side? |

Great picture - nice design and nice technique - but snow is renowned for it's reflective quality (skiers -need- to wear sunglasses to protect their eyes) so it's very jarring to have essentially silhouetted characters on bright snow.
IMO anyway. And I would like to see them.

Not to sound to harsh with this Sumaleth, but that's why this is posted in the WIP section. I'm not done. There will definitely be some stronger reflected light coming off the snow by the time its done. However, I do appreciate the comments. |

That kicks major ass. Still, I'd put in some more stuff .. and since it's snow, the picture could be less yellow, and due to the nature of light reflection, the shadows could be way lighter and slightly bluish.
Pretty amazing work if I may say! |
