theres definently a lighting and groundin problem. also the legs are too short. looks like u want the light comin from in front of him from the top. if thats the cause get rid of the big circular shadow on the ground under him and put it to the back of him. that will help the lightin and groundin at the same time. also u may want to add a couple blades of grass in front of his boots to make it look more like hes on the ground. and if u keep the frontal lightin as u have it id put a white glare across the shovels metal part. hope that helped |

I agree with vegeta�ONAC's crits. I really like what you've done with the background and I think if you develop it further it will look really great.
My crit is that if the background is filled with so much green light, then perhaps the figure should be affected by the green values aswell?
