I have only just started doing 3D work so don't grade me on that

I chose this layout because its fast loading, simple and is great for people who don't have fast connections (like me I have a 33.6k modem).

It's very straightforward, which is good -- and it's minimal, so yes, especially for we tiny-band modem folk, that's very helpful.

You will definitely want to rework the colors, though. Black text on a dark blue background (and then further contrasted by that white border all around) is terribly painful and will turn off most viewers.

Not to shoot down your whole design.

WEll, it's simple and suits slow connections well but it isn't very pretty... By this I mean images. And the so called pretty sites are always more fun to look at, right? They don't always requirea lot of graphics, though.

Solayna: yeah its not really meant to be appealing to the eye.. I will try get a better color scheme like Little Bee said and its mainly supposed to be a focus on my work. I have had many graphical intensive sites that many users just turned away from because it took too long to load, especially on free servers.

I will try and find a line in between and get it looking good while keeping the fast loading.

who is this targeted for?

are people supposed to walk (surf) away from this impressed?

i think there could be a bit more content if this is an informational website about you and what you do.

but, dont get me wrong, its a good start, and there is a lot of room on your layout for additions and improvements.
