Ok, i am posting this to see if i can get some shading help. I don't got a wacom board, not yet neways. So i did this pic and i got that flat color on the char and thats about it. I've tried to shade it and it always turns out horrible, and very 2d looking. If you can just give me some help on it i would be thankful. You can do a quick shade of it and explain it if you want. So here it is(please remeber, my scanner isn't up, and no wacom. so this is done with a mouse. Plus i am new to adobe.):

I think your pic would look good with somekind of dramatic lighting... I suck in shading so I can't really give you any advice on this ^^;; There's a good metal tutorial at Elfwood by William Li (that man is a God >_< ), so you might want to check that out for some reference for the armour

I hope that'll give you somekind of help? I wish I could give you more advice on this

It's impressive, especially in the hands. There's a lot that would improve with a board, no doubt, but you do well with the whole anime look.

Solayna: Love the evil goblin. You've got this cool blurry oil look to your coloring.

OMG I didn't know neone had replied to this since i last posted. Just sorta forgot about it. Well i am waiting until i can afford a tablet before reposting any pics. I know, SO many ppl will be disappointed. Hopefully it won't be but a month or so(I can't get it for christmas cause i asked for way too much other expensive stuff. I probably won' get most of it) Well i will still post replies and check back as much as possible. I'm better at judging art than i am actually drawing it anyways. Wish I was as good as Dawid but he's like a god at this stuff. I am amazed every single time i look at his pics no matter how many times i've seen them. EVERONE MUST CHECK OUT THAT GALLERY. Trust me he's good.
