Sorry for my mistake. Off course I meant to post two different images. Sorry for that waste of bandwidth. Here is the second picture.
same like media 1. Differnet server. Seems to work now. Thanks for your comments so far.

Looks good. But if it's an imitation of traditional media, I don't why this has to be done. This may be a good experiment, but I still think this kind of painting should be done with tangible medium. Because you simply can't see the weight and volume with this picture. |

Thank you for your time and opinion. I completely agree to you. This pictures were just experiments on how close you can get and how the images will work. Even that I�m surprised how good I could imitate certain painterly effects, I still have the feeling those images do not work well. I like the work from Craig Mullins. I think his pictures work, because he uses the "natural" "rude" look of the digital media itself. Like this he gets some kind of "digital texture", I think.
Hope to get some other opions on this subject. (That doesn�t mean that I wasn�t satisfied with your post, Michael!!!)
Here are some more of this experiments. Hope I�m not getting boring.
