umm hmmm.. what can't you get right? it looks like your going for a smudgy sort of fuzzy painting style... or do you want more defined features? hard to tell |

I did not know that I was tring for the smudged look ! This was done in painter !
I need help in defintion and structure .
I no this is amaturist ,but you have to start
somewhere ! I am tring! Help is needed to improve . I am not stneil777! |

T I do'nt know what you meant by that statment ? I would however be gratefull for
any and all constructive critsism. I have a
limited knowledge of digital art ,but I truly
want to learn . This site has the best artist
in the world as far as I can see and what better way to learn than from the masters. |

I'd say use hard-edged brushes to define the forms better. It seems like you're focusing too much on the colors right now and haven't really carved out the shape yet. |

Thanks Tinusch . This is the kind of help I need . However I did not start with an Idea
of what I was going to paint . I just start
laying down colors and something always comes
out of the paint. Then I start laying down lighter colors to define the form .
I thik your suggestion is valid and I think
it would help to have an Idea of what I am going to paint ! Thanks again I will try and
fix this pic . |

i really like it smudgy.. but the outside edges of it would look cool all sharp and stuff... but yeah i like it |

Thanks smalls ! I worked on this pic to define the subject more .I really want to keep it dark ,but on some monitors it looks
way to dark . I will post update in this thread . Thanks for the help ! |
