The file doesn't self-execute... it's unrecognizable. Usually bink movies are in .exe format, I think. |

You are correct, thanks for the heads-up. The link has been fixed (I forgot to compile the exe).
Here's a shot from the clip to possibly further warrant the download
Feedback please! |

I really like it! I think you did great work with the gestures and mimics!! I especially like the part where the guy is first looking down and then seeing who/what is in front of him.
Let me suggest one thing: Maybe you should pay more attention to the animation of the chest and whole body. I really like the movements when he's coming in, however, afterwards it seems as if the animation is reduced to the face/head and hands/arms/shoulders - not completely of course. Hope that helps, just my 0.02$.

Download the Bink here
(bink is a self-playing movie file with excellent compression)
This animation will be part of my demo reel, which I will be sending to some game companies. The character in the clip was built with game restrictions in mind - he's ~2000 polies with one 512x512 texture.
This is my first attempt at facial animation and lip syncing, so I'd appreciate any comments about where his believability breaks down, as well as any other feedback. After the clip cuts off, there will be a shot of him looking across the counter to some kind of generic game monster who has come in looking for weapon repairs, which might better explain the dialogue.
