I want to imbed some of it but my server has those rotten banners and the guy I usually use as my server has it shut down. Oh well...
I wish I had time to finish more stuff or even spend more than a couple hours on one project but work is insane. Unfortunately after drawing all day at work i am burnt and don't work on many outside projects. Of course all the crap i do at work is owned by the company so i can't post it. I do about 4 to 5 "bol2's" a day.
I really love this forum though, and people like Bizarde and Feng are my idols. Feng better watch out because Bizarde is doing some crazy shit these days. Forget about Spooge or Francis. Outta my league.
I hope people look at my stuff and in the near future i am going to post up some of my oil paintings. Which are finished.
I never get much feedback so let me know if you like a certain piece and why.
On another note, the company I work for had Ron Cobb employed here right before I arrived. Missed him by a month or two. If you don't know who he is do research immediatley. I had the chance to see some of the original concept stuff that he did for the project here, and it is amazing. I can't beleive I actually got to touch it and hold my drawings next to it for a side to side comparison. Makes me all giggly inside.

i feel the same way! i have no time at all, and dont feel up to it usually after a long day. but my work unfortunately has little to do with drawing.

Your right it is hard to find stuff on Cobb. I know that he designed the Nostromo in the alien movie and hammerhead in StarWars. Along with tons of other stuff from political cartoons to stuff for Nasa. He is a total badass.
One of my co-workers just talked to him via email and found out he also designed the helicopter jet things in that Schwarzenegger film. 6th day.
Thanks for the url share. I should be able to post stuff in a couple days so no worries.
also thanks for your comments.

I uploaded a bunch of new crap to my little index sight. I also included a bunch of screenshots from stuff i did in the game I worked on. I mainly textured stuff but i modeled some as well.
Hope you like.

Sweet, yea, you should make a whole gallery out of them, also put down a brief line or two about the art itself.
I really liked: stillskull.jpg
The skull reminded me of a still life I had to do in highschool.
and also the garden.jpg |

I'm guessing from where you are located, the images on your site, and the fact that Ron Cobb worked for the company, I deduce you work for Timeline Entertainment...or whatever the name is now. Michael Crichton's company. Sounds very cool. I recently borrowed a book from a friend of mine on Ron Cobb's work from films and projects. It had his Conan stuff in there, the Alien stuff (the sign designs are very cool) as well as numerous others. You've got some great stuff. I hope to see more soon. |
