There are currently 22 artists invited to my private tiles game at http://tiles.ice.org . Below is a screen grab of some of the quilt that has been completed so far. There are lots of tiles left, If you would like to participate in the new tiles game, please create and account at http://tiles.ice.org and send and email to [email protected] asking for access.

You can work on the public quilt all you want, but I will need to invite you the Sijun Forums quilt.

There is no theme, it's turns out more intersting that way. When you check out a tile, there is a 16 pixel border of the neighboring tiles that have been created. You blend in whatever way you think will work best and add something interesting of your own. We figured out a pretty good set of guidelines to make the quilts more interesting and consistant. The guidelines are posted on the site, no need to go into them here.

nice for a composition worked on by 22 artists! i like the way it's being blended. looks like something one could paint on a huge section of wall on an old downtown building!

wonderful lighting and contrast and the themes are well done.

Dysphoria, there is a public quilt for users of any skill level. There is no way for you to ruin that. There is also a black and white quilt that is really fun to work on.

I was in iCE once. But massd and syntax and lordsoth and friartuck and force10 and jae/toongoon now all have negative feelings torwards me it seems. "Oh, he ditched us. He is unloyal. He's a backstabber. Bla bla bla" Oh well, to hell with them anyway.

I am friends with LordSoth, and he is the coder of the tiles page. I got this email from him when I inquired about your message. I thought your statements were a bit odd because lots of people have come and gone from iCE as artists, but still keep in touch will ice guys as friends and get the free web space and other member benefits even though they no longer contribute. (We even keep in touch and joke around with Catbones if you are familiar with that whole silly issue) Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I love your ANSI work, and as far as I can tell no one in ice holds a grudge toward you.

haha, that's pretty funny. Oh yeah, you guys know us. Always looking
for new grudges to keep! It's a conspiracy! Just because he left ice
YEARS ago, brian, me, syntax, friar, force10, and jae ALL HATE HIM.

Snake Grunger has always been a tad dramatic, and I can't help but think
that this is entirely imagined. I certainly have no ill feelings toward
the guy, he's a nice fella.

Jon
