Yeah, the metal is brilliant, but remember the proportions of the head: The distance between the hairline and the browline (also top of the nose) is the same as the distance between the browline and the base of the nose, and is also the same as the distance between the base of the nose and the chin...
The way you've got it drawn now the distance between the browline and the hairline is too short - or rather, to keep the head size realistic, the other two distances are too long. Lower the browline and the base of the nose by the right amounts and things will look better :-)

Allright, still working on my wear and tear. Take a look at this one, very much in progress. Ive cropped it in order to fit it on my limited account, so if you want to have a look at the whole pose, let me know and ill try to get a large one up.
but how about that worn metal? any tips?
