Well I've got a lot of ideas flotting around in my head, two of which are two of my characters below. There still in the early sketch stages....I'm thinking of maybe painting tham once I finish.....





...I working out their bodies as I type, but I was worndering what you thought of the style so far....if there is any.

You seem to be running into the age old problem of "detail first, concept last". I would work out some rough sketches of the actual creatures before going into shading and what not. For instance, the perspective on the first image, is off (specifically the chin), this could be remedied through conceptual phases.

As for style, reminds me alot of some of older Image comics. I like it, but I think attention to form would greatly help your style.

the_monkey: Thanks dood, I know I'm not up to par with a lot of the ppl here, but that's why I'm here right?

Fontainne: Yeah, I guess I was going for a comicy look as opposed to realistic....but that's what I meant about style. I was trying something new, thanks for the input...I'll try to work on the quirks a bit more.
