Pretty new stuff for me. It's still so hard for me to see 3-D. I get linear perspective with no problem, but when it comes to rounded forms I suck. Anyway, please tell me what ya think 'bout it.

The drawing looks pretty good. Looks like something out of sonic the hedgehog , but the rendering of the image I wouldnt say is good. Not enough definition, too flat and too many highlights that look like they dont belong. That is what I think anyway.
You could try and add more shadows and make highlights less white. You could also have the light coming from one direction because it looks like you dont have any light source.
From what you have said you havent done much rendering of images. It is a good try though. If you keep at it you should be able to create some wonderful images.
Do you use the airbrush for shading and highlights? Doesnt look like you do.

looks like your doing the whole 'afraid to make the shading too dark' syndrome. just fly with it, add a lot of contrast, don't worry about how it will come out, just shade it how you see fit, it'll be fine. |
