Working on a landscape these days and I can't say that I'm really used to this.
I'd like to have a more natural feeling to the lighting of the scene. Anyone can help?

Looks pretty cool. I like the way it looks. I am just unsure what the red/orange drops are. There is something wrong with those clouds though... they seem to go from 'breaking apart' to solid and seem to get almost too dark. But if you like it, that is what matters.

I think it's a sacrificing place where monks run rampet killing billy goats and other hairy-hooved mammals....

AM I right?! Am I?

Sahripper : the red orange drops are blood stains. I agree with you on the clouds, the transition may be too abrupt. I think I'll add some more on the right to make it smoother

Frustrated : actually it's more a duel arena for fur-covered-over-testosteroned-exageratingly-muscled-barbarians.
but you're right on one thing : somebody will be sacrificed !

Looks good.
Just one thing: There is blood in the snow. But there are no footprints.

LeChuck : You raise an interesting point here... you see this pic is supposed to be the background for some sort of fighting game. Little sprites of blood-thirsty-barbarians will actually walk on this pic. Since I don't think the characters will leave footprints, I wasn't sure if I had to draw some of them, for coherence-sake. Who knows, maybe the snow is hard as concrete in this frozen parts ? Maybe i'll try to add some. Anyway this picture is far to be finished so if you see anything to change, I'll be glad to hear it.

Here is a concept sketch I draw for the character.

No he's not holding an invisible sword, but it'll come later

...where did the blood come from?

quite nice work, btw. i just wonder. particularly since there're no footprints, and the blood looks like it almost *misted* on instead of being flung from somewhere.
