This is just a quick eye study...I did this awhile ago, but figured I'd throw it up anyway.
It feels really flat to me still and the lower eyelids' edges seem to sharp...also the area below the brow doesn't recede...

well the eye itself is okay, but i don't know about the brow..

I think it's missing the upper lid, the eyebrow is too low.
I love the eye studies.
There fun to draw, best part of the face for me.

Yeah, the brow is funky...
without a head around it, its hard to see that I'm not drawing a straight on frontal shot. The head is supposed to be tilted towards you (see image above)...I should have looked at this more when painting and I could have chiseled it more.
I'm still trying to not only learn all the anatomy, but to apply that knowledge when I can't see it in the reference...
