@ LoTekk :
That is an insanely cool "souvenir" to have, I'd give my left nut to have been at that lecture ... maybe even my right ... heheh ..

Will Eisner is "only" the best comic storyteller on the planet ... Writing/drawing stories that means something, takes up sociopolitical issues, gives insight what it was like to live in the Ghettos of New York in the 30s and 40s and so on ... He could be funny too .. like some of his hilarious Spirit characters/stories ... You haven't read comics until you've read some of Eisners ...
Stan Lee et al. should have picked up a thing or two about stories worth telling from this comic book GOD ... Will Eisners phone-doodles make other comics seem like ... ummm ... horsedung ...
"Will Eisner has been a pioneering force in comics for over sixty years. His career spans groundbreaking work in early newspaper comics to the mature graphic novels that he continues to produce today."
Will Eisner.com
Did I mention that Will Eisner is THE BEST !!!
OK, OK, OK ... I'll shut up now ...

I used to own a coveted copy of his book "Comics and Sequential Art". Hands down the BEST sequential artist of our time.
I'd cut off my left pinky toe for an opportunity to talk with that man.
Very cool, did you get a chance to speak with him one on one?

unfortunately his schedule (and the small crowd of admirers) didn't give me a chance to actually have a one-on-one with him ( ), but i soaked up what he was saying in the talk as well as when he was chatting with his fans...
it seemed so surreal when he signed my sketchbook...
