all these amateurs, they still havent experienced the true power of notepad. they dont know what a powerful tool theyve got there. im working on final fantasy, the spirits without, and thats completely made in notepad. i mean it completely replaces even max. just for comparison, max has nurbs, NOTEPAD HAS LETTERS!!!!! thats far superior. i think those newbies picked a tobic a bit too big for their boots. theyt dont know what theyre talking about.

I just got it from a reliable source that the next version of Notepad will no longer support the rendering scripts from the previous version. This is because it's a complete rewrite of the rendering engine.
That really sucks. I have about 20 different scripts that fakes global illumination for the Bold Face Types. Now I have to use those stupid rotating lights for that pretty GI look.
About damn time Animal Logic released a Noteman. I'd rather just use that and render out in Mental Ray or even BMRT. |

What a completly pointless debate! Why would you waste your time even talking about it. When you look at notepad vs lightwave side by side, one is clearly superior to the other!
I mean have you ever tried writing a decent report or letter in lightwave? Even if you do the filesize is huge! And last but not least you need to use another program just to print it out! Notepad is king. |
