I put in about 4 hours and was nearing completion on a piece I was working on and Photoshop decided to crash!!
I doubt it's possible but is there a way to restore via the PS scratch file?

You mean you didn't save it for 4 hours?

Besides a few interruptions I got lost in the painting process and totally forgot to save.

Nevermind. I found that I DID save the friggin thing under a different file name!
*need to catch up on sleep*

baby + painting = too much on my mind to remember what I did

I wonder how long it takes Adobe to finally implement an auto save function in PS. I lost already so much work that way. I think an autosave function is a MUST HAVE feature for a software that claims to be user friendly or ergonomic.
