Hi,

Someone have a good tips with the smudge tool in photoshop?

Btw do u use the blur tool to smooth corner or something like that?

It really depends how you are using it..

I only use it to smooth out some areas where my brush strokes are messy, and I need blending. The best way to make a smooth blend:

Say you have two colours for example, one on the left one on the right, and the join where they meet is a vertical line (for explanation purposes). First I would choose a soft edged smudge brush and maybe turn down the opacity a bit. Now I would brush from side to side, left, right, left.. etc.. pushing and pulling the colours into each other. After I did that a fair amount, it would get too much of a squiggly side to side texture, so to combat that I would finally go back and smudge in the direction of the seam where the two colours orignially met. So up and down vertically. that should do a good job of it.

The blur tool can also be useful for similar purposes, but it doesn't really blend large areas at all. Just use it to soften up already blended areas.
