Excuse me for making this thread live any longer than it should - it's not worth it, I know - but I was wondering, what if this NRJ-company was actually only contracted for 3 airbrushed works, and sent out the same message? Then he would receive all the works for free, telling everybody that "sorry, although your work was good, we were unable to use it... but with your permission we will store it, and maybe we have something for you later!"
If people didn't think of this themselves, remember to stamp a giant semi-transparent (or is that translucent?) signature across your image...
Thanks |

Although you have a point. There is no need to worry like i sayed there is 15+ carachters to airbrush and i ziped 3 gave the same link to all the participating artist to download and told them that the most important one is the pic called #1. NRJ is a serious company who has been in business for a while you can see that just by checking out our portfolio. As for the stamp its not the most effective way to go because its very easy to edit the pic to remove it.
One more thing is the client will want the PSD's once the job is finished. The samples i am sending to the client are JPG format, every artist will keep there own PSD's.
You cant go to the printer and ask them to print the charachters in JPG 72 DPI. He will laugh at you.
So no need to worry although it is a good point. |

Like I said before... Ive done work for NRJ. They're legit. The artists were asked to submit sample images. When the client decides which artist he wants to go with, NRJ will give the contract to that artist and he gets paid.
Not very often that Ive heard of artists being paid for submitted sample images when trying to get the job. Actually Ive never heard of that. |
