If you'd be prepared to shell out for a book, then IMHO this is possibly the best guide to airbrushing. It covers everything from technique to different methods and all the methods are easily adapted for digital packages like Photoshop and Painter. Actually, at the end of the book the author points out that he uses a Mac to do all his airbrushing now.
