If you havent alread i suggest you check out Elfwood at www.elfwood.com They have some very good artist (and some shitty ones). Amateur artists are found in the lysator section. Amateur only because art is not all they make a living on. Heres a couple of my favorites(i havent gone through all 9000000 of em or however many it is)... http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/f/a/farseer/farseer.html http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/m/a/matter/matter.html

One of my personal favourites on Elfwood: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/u/r/ursula/ ...which reminds me, I really need to take my gallery down off Elfwood...I haven't been an amateur for quite a while now.

Oh, yes...I almost forgot. I am also duty-bound to plug my favourite fantasy/sci-fi site: http://www.epilogue.net/ . A lot of the best artists from Elfwood have their art up there, and it's a lot easier to find, because Epilogue does have some editorial standards.

Now, if Mr. Mullins would just put up some of HIS fantasy art there, the site would be perfect! (hint, hint)

Hm...Three of the tutorials on Epilogue are VERY good. The other two are mine. I think Michael Yazijian's flesh tones tutorial is particularly good.
