There's a palette on the right in photoshop with the tabs of Info, Options, and Navigator. Go to Options. On the bottom should be three check-mark boxes. Size, Opacity, and Color. I believe you want the Opacity box checked. Experiement around tho. Using more than one check gives interesting results. I rarely use the Color one tho. |

Aquamire: I have PS6. Your instructions were for 5.5 or something like that, right?
Anyway, I found out how to do it. You have to click on the 'Brush Dynamics' button which is near the upper right when you have a brush selected. |

I was just messing with my tablet in photoshop, and, regardless of the size of my brush, if I paint lightly, the stroke is very thin. Which means if I want to get a thick line I have to press hard.
Is this what it is like for you guys? I had the impression the pressure sensitivity would affect the opacity. |

well, i don't have a tablet (yet... coming next month... :P intuos 6x8... *drool*), but i seem to recall that you can set the pressure sensitivity within the brush options or something... you can set the sensitivity to either brush size, brush opacity, or brush color (like, you can have a light touch be green and heavy stroke be blue)...
good luck,
