When I view my digital painting in photoshop, the colors look about right. But when I convert it to jpg, or any other smaller format, my picture gets darker, looses some contrast, and seems to become more saturated. Is there a way I can still have the picture's color look like they did in photoshop (at least not become so dark) and have it's size remain web-worthy?

Thanks

Must/might be caused by some gamma correction by pshop (which is SUCH a bad idea...)
