If you were presented with the opportunity to kill anyone, this means ANYONE, and you would not be blamed, caught, or had any connection with it, who would you kill?

Yes this is a morbid question, in some ways sick, but it's always intersting to see some of the things people will say.

a Cure song (primary) came to mind when I read this question.

I'd kill a child. Innocence that'd never be tainted.

I would probably kill Osama bin Laden, or perhaps Saddam Hussein. There are actually several, when I think about it. But what would it really accomplish in the end?

Heh, actually, I'd not kill anyone.

I don't think the "blame" or the "shame" is the issue here. I wouldn't want to kill someone because /I/ would know... that's enough of a reason for me to not want to do it. I have /some/ restrictions *chuckle*

That said, if I had to kill someone it'd be... *thinks*... well... *thinks more*... Probably that guy that kicked my cat some time back...

Or the guy who ran over another cat of mine this summer, and then didn't even bother to step out of the car and tell my parents about it, even though it happened very close to their house. Yeah. I'd take a car and run over him a couple of times, then I'd kick him in the head. *coughs* Yes. Or maybe it wasn't a he, but a she... not that it matters... anyway... I ramble. Gah. Hate.

schabe: the question did include a setting where there wold be no repercussions, presumably no divine retribution, either.

As for my answer... No-one. Or if I had to, myself.

god gave moses some stone plates with some laws: one was 'you should not kill' or something similar.

ok i think u have to difference between old and new testament. old testament is more the eye for an eye style (right grammaer?) so when your neighbour fights you, fight back.
new testament says: if your neighbour fights you, let him fight.

both testaments dont allow killing other people or suicide.

dont believe in bible, i'm agnostician, but its an interesting book.

since so many people of the christian faith see the bible as a whole, i will too.

theres a lot of bad stuff in the new testament about hatin and killin. like the passage in romans where it advocates homosexuals (among others) being killed.

Not allowed? Hahaha, good one.

Religion has been the cause of more wars than I care to count. You can justify the most evil of evil things with the Bible, all you need is enough holy quotations and a suitably god fearing audience. Witch hunting, the Crusades, Thou shalt not suffer the infidel, so on and so forth. History is littered with examples.

Good answer!

I'd probably go out on a killing spree and waste people indiscriminantly off the streets. Maybe find out what the hell the hype is all about.

If I'm allowed only one, it would have to be... Umm... Some sleazebag pedophile/rapist. Give him a slow and painful death.

"not allowed by the bible" -thats debatable

in a hypothetical situation in which a person or entity is directly responsible for me being presented with the opportunity. i would kill that person, well unless they were family or i liked them

faithinchaos: ok there are lots of different stories/books in bible, also quite controversal and easy to abuse. i didnt red the whole book, but i consider the 'sermon on a hill' by jesus as one of the important parts.

slightlytwisted: sure, dont deny it. i think the reason why the church could spread that much evil in history (e.g.: spanish inquisition) is because of bible contains that much different stuff. infact some parts of bible were written by the church.

e.g. the crusader did ignored the commandment not to kill, thats why they now burn in hell

if someone would die by me:

I'd Remove your Colon with a dull spoon. stuff firecrackers in your genitals and wax your back with spiked-flypaper. I would then releave the annoyance of your limbs by removing them with a rusty hacksaw and turn your toes inside-out. I would glue a bottle filled with insects to your open mouth, bleach your eyes and feed you your feces again after you regurgitate them the first time.
After the tedious task of peeling back the skin on your face i would pour boiling hot urine on your eyes. whilst mixing a batch of barbwire-lined concrete to feed you i would think about how luscious it would be to see you try to pass a stone made out of this hellish mixture.

any takers?

I reckon there should be a kind of modern day Ninja who discreetly goes about finishing off all those people who should have died at birth: George Dubya, Tony F'in Blair, Saddam Husain ( especially since he has an impossible name) all the GM knobs who think they have the jurisdiction to go around deciding the fate of species... and ... umm ... i'll think of more later. :P

what's up with so many ppl wanting to kill saddam hussein? the U.S. put him into power to watch over Iran while their shit was going on over 20 years ago, supplied him with weapons and all the technology he needed, then he wants to take over lil kuwait and everyone's like "wtf?" and mark him as the bad guy.... i'm not saying he's a good guy, he's still a piece o'shit, but the U.S. fucked up royally like they so often do, (i.e. Panama & Vietnam), so if you want to kill someone, choose someone up in the U.S. government, because if Saddam is out of the picture, the U.S. is just going to put some other brainwashed puppy up there to supply them with their oh-so-precious oil and play watchdog on the surrounding area.... Saddam just happened to want a lil bigger piece o'the pie for himself....
