HI all!
I can get a 3 month old serial Wacom Intuos 6x8 for about 200 bucks (500 dutch guilders)
with guarantee
should i buy this or is it better to wait and buy a (bigger) usb tablet??? (what's the different anyway between the COM and USB tablet? faster data rate?)
Thanx
-Alan

Well at wacom direct you can get a refurbished (with a 1yr warranty and their software) for about 120 dollars. However they only ship to north america I think so you might be in a bind.
As for serial vs. USB, well yes USB is much faster, but it shouldn't matter with tablets, I don't think you'll see any difference.
just a thought. |

I have to use a Serial tablet at work (NT) and have a USB one at home - there's no discernible difference in performance.
