Hello all!

I'm looking for a person that can do models, but more specifically - animations - for a q3 mod. We're not one of those teams that crumbles under pressure or disbands after a week of development. We've been around for a long time and we've got some excellent people with us!

We're all pretty confident that the mod is going to loads of fun, as well as original. It's going with the whole greek mythology theme and personally I've really enjoyed working on it. We haven't updated the page in a little while but we expect to update within the next couple of days. But feel free to check out what we have here!

So, if anybody out there wants to devote a little bit of their spare time to working with us, I would appreciate it so much! To anyone who's interested, do you think you can post some samples of your work? We're mainly looking for someone that can build interesting characters, not just map objects and such.

Thanks a ton, I hope to get replies. Also if anyone knows of another nifty forum I can post my request in, let me know

Beth

Heya, Beth,

I'll post some low-poly models I've done, as soon as I get ftp access to my site again. Could be a week or more (I'm so pissed).

For now, if you have the time, you can see low-poly models I've both designed and/or built/modified, in the following games:

  • Animaniacs / Ten Pin Alley
  • Bio Freaks
  • Army Men / Sarge's Heroes (Dreamcast)
  • Other's found on my resume, in my profile, on my site.

Until then, I wish you lotsa luck on this...

Hi! I noticed that you are from Mesquite. I too lived in Mesquite for about 10 years and used to run the Lone Star Comics shop there. I now am working towards building my digital art business by doing freelance graphics and animation, which is why I'm replying to this.

If you'd like to see some samples of my stuff, check out http://www.pixualize.com/
I have a couple of galleries with digital art and animation.

Oh my GOD! Somebody actually responded! AHHH!!

I'm sorry, I am just really excited now because I've gone through so much crap over the past month trying to find an animator and nobody is willing to help me out... sighs. But I'm gonna send you an e-mail and fill you in pixualize.

Anybody else?

*begs and pleads*

(start rant)

Oh yeah, and did I mention there's no money involved? Yeah that's right... no cash. It's a mod team. I can't believe how many animators have had the balls to ask me how much I'm going to pay them. One guy yesterday even told me he would only work if he had benefits. Hello? Anybody not hear the word MOD? Right now I'm very angry at animators... lol... sorry

(end rant...)

That's all, someone please respond and not talk to me about money. I don't even have money myself so you can forget about me paying you

If you want work for your portfolio, lots of experience and put your name out to the public with a fun game then you should really think about doing this. We get more publicity than the average mod team and we have wonderful sponsors.
