how do i put i wire frame overlaping the image?

LOL! Take a screan capture of your renduring and then take it in photo shop. There you can paint lines on it.

Thats one method. But there are others depending upon the program you are using.

that split wireframe/image comes from creating an image in a 3d program like Max,LW, or Maya. Take a screen shot of the wireframe, and then a render, using the same perspective, view, etc. open the images in Photoshop, and using a Alpha channel Gradient (opposite for each image) fade one image into the other. I'm not sure if you can do it to an image created in photoshop or any other "2D" software package.I've included a quick example of a Rocket launcher i made for Q3. using Max, and photoshop.
