Here's a few thoughts to get the ball rolling...
- When you doodle, what do you think about?
- Do you dance around before you start working to get warmed up? Or do you scribble circles and spheres?
- Have you ever heard of some really effective and quick exercises to do that improves a certain aspect of drawing/painting? (For example, do you have a certain stick figure that helps you with your proportions...)
- or, do you just sit down and make the amazing artwork we see here in pure subconscious bliss? |

I got a question. What was the cube and sphere for that Spooge had on his computer?
I can't see it helping with lighting, unless he takes it everywhere he goes. Perspective probably, but I'm not sure how....just curious. |

I got a DVD player recently and I'm collecting movies that are classic for their visual style. That puts me in a good mood, having them in the background to glance at now and then and listen to...
Examples are Bladerunner, The City of Lost Children, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc... You know, standard art classic movies...
And funny that you mention a "dance" before you draw... I always do something like that, hopping around, pushups, jumping up and down- just trying to wake up since it's usually 11:30pm or so before I get a chance to work on my drawings...
