Hmmm I don't think it is right to not post anything after I put up a topic. So I will keep two of the images up. These are both representing the expanded starwars universe.

1: Naboo Skimmer ( This is a pic from a story board set I did for the animated intro into the Naboo planetery section.

2: Coruscant Cygaurd( this is a scetch for the Coruscant cygaurd. More info will be available when the site opens )

This image isn't done so don't knock it to hard !!! Ohh and the thing in the middle isn't his weiner!!! Interactive imaging concel.

Now this is just a small preview and does not represent the overall quality of the site. I will start posting more as I am now up to 200 posts and only my second posted pic. I hope I can get good feed back on the posts from you guys...Thanks!!!

Good luck with the site, I tried animation galleries myself once upon a time but had to scale it all down to images only. Very tough making an animation gallery work and keep it alive, if its low traffic its easy enough but as traffic increases bandwidth problems rear up on ya. Good look licking that problem!

I was a little unimpressed with the Flash animation and site intro to be honest. Flash animation is an art that is very difficult to master and anything less than superb tends to come across as sad, even when the work that went into it could have been quite great indeed.

Still you haven`t got the site up an running yet so I`m not going to knock it. Perhaps trying to get in with the Star wars alliance site and forums may be a really good movie to attract Star wars graphics heads out there.

Garry probebly should not have psoted this until I got that stupid coming soon trailer down.....It took about 30 mins to make and I just did it so something was there...sorry it sucks so bad. I am going with a site that provides unlimted traffic so band width should not be a problem.......

Milkman,

Just make sure you read the fine print in the user agreement for your web host (I even call them to make sure.) Most hosts claim unlimited traffic but upon reading the fine print you find out that if you have a site that consists mainly of downloaded files (even images) the unlimited bandwidth promise is negated. This means images/movies/programs etc. I just know because I have shopped around alot and I have actually been a victim of this kind of fine print before.

Just wanted you to be careful!

Eric

Hey Milkman,

Just one note. I like where you're going with the second drawing, although at this stage it's still pretty derivative of Masamune Shirow.

Make sure and beat it up plenty and get it dirty in the painting stage.

I work at LucasArts, and pretty much draw Star Wars for a living. Whenever I'm trying to impart that real "Star Wars" look to something, that's the first thing I do. Dents, paint chips, oil streaks, dirt. Lay it on there.
