Hi, second attempt at using my wacom, i've done a quickish sketch of the skinned human figure included and have come to shading it, and am having a few problems, ie it doesn't look right, any help/advice/technique etc would be help full. All attempts so far have looked very flat (i didn't save any, just deleted the layers so don't have any to show).
Also does anyone know where it is possible to buy figures like the one in the picture, this was on display at the hayward gallery in London (scaned it from the book(i have a poor scanner))

Thx for any help

I don't know where to buy them. But wasn't there some artist 100 years ago, or something, that took dead bodies, skinned them, and shellacked them in poses and stuff?
They're absolutely incredible. He reconstructed the eyes and put some on horseback (the horse is done as well). It's really freaky.
That sculpture looks like that sort of thing, except his were real bodies. |
